You can try to add the following CSS rule to 'CSS Styles' parameter:

You are a genius!!!

That solved both the drop-down menu problem AND the YooSearch results problem - both now put their drop-downs in FFRONT of the Carousel.

I am seriously impressed.

I am having the same problem and have tried changing the z-index in several places but still haven't been able to fix it.

I would really like to have the carousel display behind the menu (right now when people roll over menu it displays below the carousel).

I'm having same problem and its hiding drop-down menu item in IE 7.0. its coming fine in >7.0 for IE, chrome and FF. Please help me out to get it sorted out. you can take a look on following link to see the problem.
